BAILOUT ALERT good LORD woman, which side are you on?

"we delivered on our side of the bargain" Nancy Pelosi just said in her statement to the press.
I'm confused.
She stated BEFORE the vote basically that it was a bad idea, yet she is stating that her side(Dems) did their part to push it through.
Which is her true feeling? It's good or bad?

I, myself, think we have to intercede but NOT with the bill as it was.

I dislike the term predatory lending which is being thrown around lately regarding the housing crisis and subsequent failure of the coutries' financial leaders. I blame EVERY person out there who signed on that dotted line knowing FULL WELL they could NOT pay that mortgage a few years down the line.
I have seen this FIRST hand.
I live in an area which experienced a huge housing BOOM about 6 years ago. It burst, maybe a year ago.
We bought during that time. We bought a home we could AFFORD. Not the one on the lake, or closer to the ocean which we could have bought and squeaked by each month. We had a fiscal responsibility to our family to borrow RESPONSIBLY.
I am NOT talking about the person who did have excellent credit, a great job etc who fell into illness and can't make the payment. I'm talking about the majority who borrowed by the seat of their pants! SHAME SHAME SHAME!
And people, PLEASE STOP running to the bank and withdrawing your money. You are INSURED up to $100K. If you have more than that laying around in a savings account, kudos to you and maybe you should diversify.

Ok, now Barney Frank is going on about Reps having their feelings hurt so they changed their vote.
Listen, I am FOR a plan to alleviate this crisis to stop more financial giants going under or a stock market crash (-650 this afternoon). Oh, and an aside -- BUY!! BUY!! BUY!!
We do need a revamp though.
I do not think the Reps who changed their votes did so because of their feelings being hurt.
I hope though that they are not on the "free market" bandwagon I am seeing and hearing thrown around on the CNNs and the FOX news's of the world.
The REPS are not trying to PUNISH the country..I hate the phrases being thrown out this afternoon.
I used to like Barney Frank...sheesh.
These people are acting like children!
The Dems are in the majority and they didnt pass it. They had 90 something votes NAY!
Sure am glad I have myo3world to have a little spare change to put into my FDIC insured bank account.

They just asked Senator Graham what he thought about people in livingrooms all over America looking at the Hill, seeing what is going on and how they are acting, in UTTER DISGUST.
I'm a little shocked, appaulled and slightly amused by how the senate leaders are acting.
Soundbies people. RECOGNIZE the fact that you are being fed SOUNDBITES!
I can only imagine what local news stations will broadcast tonight.
